Joe F. Hanley - Guitar, Mando and Vocals
Born out of the powerful Celtic rock band Beyond The Pale, which by the way, is still healthy and going strong, Joe and Sean have decided to channel their energies into full time music careers. Along with anchoring Beyond The Pale they will now perform as a duo when BTP is not booked.
Joe has been playing out since the early 80's. He has done solo work in the Newburyport area and been a part of several Irish and Rock bands through the years, the latest being Beyond The Pale. Joe plays "lead rhythm" mandolin in BTP and plays both guitar and mandolin in the duo. Joe's influences range from the Beatles, Dylan and Grateful Dead to Jesse Winchester and Pat Metheny.
